We have a few here, most are pretty worn, but did find one that appears in pretty good condition (little to no wear on spline)
AU$39.95 plus post
Shoot me a message at mikesclassics@bigpond.com if you still need one or any other parts.
Thanks, Brett.

So Brett- what exactly in your mind is the G-O with that little stumpy lever? The one I have doesn't have a part number on it, and is ~42mm/~1-5/8" between shaft centres?

I've trawled though the few parts lists I have for A7/10's and B series pre-units, and can't see a picture or listing that fits its' description.

Listed as Brake Arm Plunger- '49 -'57;          67-6053                 (Long one)     ??~68mm/2-11/16" Shaft Centres??

There's some confusion about this, as some are calling the 67-6053  a 'short one', but in the parts lists, it looks longer than the one in your picture (which is like the one I have @ ~42mm/ 1-11/16")

           (Brake Lever B31/2/3/4 Rigid & Spr.?49-?54 /Comp) ;      65-6279    (Long ??~68mm/2-11/16" Shaft Centres??)
            (  ?      ?    B31/2/3/4 S/A ?54/5/6)                                42-6045   (Long ??~68mm/2-11/16" Shaft Centres??)

Personally since I fitted a 40-6041 lever, I've decided that the short one with no mumber is a piece of junk

Started building in about 1977/8 a on average '52 A10 -built from bits 'n pieces never resto intended -maybe 'personalised'
Have a '74 850T Moto Guzzi since '92-best thing I ever bought doesn't need a kickstart 'cos it bump starts sooooooooo(mostly) easy

That's the lever I have on my '55 bike.

Yes I know, same as what I had on, but it's not listed in the parts books. The only one I can see for Plunger A's is what looks to be a longer one (67-6053) which is hard to find, and I'm curious how different (or not) it is to other similar ones.

Personally since I fitted a 40-6041 lever, I've decided that the short one with no mumber is a piece of junk

As far as we are aware, there are 3 types of lever...
Swing arm (Single and twin- qd wheel) use 42-6053 Longer arm
Plunger SINGLE uses the longer arm but has less offset 65-6279
Plunger TWIN uses the shorter arm 67-6053
Hope this clears it up a little. Also just looked in parts books, Could be a little misleading in the drawing of parts as for the 67-6053 doesn't appear to look shorter, but not all images are perfect in parts books!

Thanks Brett, that's just muddied the muddy water somewhat...

If I hadn't already suggested it, I really don't care much what should be , but am just curious what the shown 67-6053 looks like or how it compares to others like a #40-6041, and what part # the little stumpy one is ; *dunno*

Illustration from the 1949 parts book showing artists impressions of 67 6053 and 65 6279.

Does it help explain?

Also, looking in the 1970 parts master price list, for 67 6053 it states "use 65 6279"

Ok thanks Julian- just goes to show we can't trust the parts books, starting to become a bit of a lucky dip hey  *smile*

Hi Guys. I am after the short lever which in my parts book is 67-6053. I have a long lever which is no good as the offset is too great and thus centres on the plunger suspension. I cannot turn it around to face the back plate because the offset is to much.
