Priory Magnetos Ltd + A7 and A10 spares
« on: 23.10. 2015 09:25 »
Just in case you didn't know already I'm Beezermacc on this splendid Forum and I run a one-man-band business called Priory Magnetos Ltd. As the title would suggest I repair magnetos. I also repair dynamos and can supply anything in the electrical department fellow A10 owners might need. When I established my business I set up trade accounts with various suppliers. In fact I rarely use these accounts for magneto and dynamo spares as I prefer to use refurbished original parts where possible. To justify keeping the accounts open I started stocking A10 spares for my own benefit as I have four A10's on the road. As time has gone by I have developed the retail side of the business and I am 'first port of call' for many A10 owners looking for spares. As I specialise in A7's and A10's to the exclusion of everything else I have been able to build up my stock of A10 parts to the point where I can supply almost anything and everything off the shelf, next day. If I haven't got what you need new I will have it second hand but, as I still have ongoing A10 projects, I may not always be willing to part with spares which fall into the 'hen's teeth' category. I also supply accessories and carburettor spares for all makes. I do my best to adhere to the business hours stated on my website but, because I work on my own, there may be the odd occasion when you can't get in touch with me (like the last couple of days when I have been entertaining an old mate from Australia!) but leave a message and I'll get back to you. The BSA spares section of my website is not yet fully representative of everything I stock but I'm getting there! Have a browse - I think you'll be surprised! Best Wishes to everybody on the forum and a particular thank you to all my customers here. Andrew www.priorymagnetos.co.uk

Your helpful knowledge here is much appreciated. Just don't go into circuit-board-mounted capacitor manufacturing or you'll create a loyalty conundrum that is hard to reckon with.

When my SR stripped its magneto ATD teeth this summer Priory Magnetos was the only place I could find to supply the parts I needed to fix it. The job took less than an hour with the brilliant intruction. Nice price and fast delivery also!

That's great to see Beezermac, from your website it looks like you have a great range of parts.

I'm not sure if this should go here or in its own posting. I visited Andrew (Beezermac) Guttmann yesterday to exchange my dynamo casing for a plated one. Andrew has a lovely man-cave-workshop-store above his garage. He is able to service magnetos and dynamos as well as other services and holds many spares. I've met Andrew at a summer camp so I knew he is a friendly chap. When I told him I was planning to carry out various jobs on my A10 he informed me that he could immediately supply most of the parts I was going to buy elsewhere. The outcome was that I went home with not only a bright dynamo case but a nice stash of other parts. Andrews prices are very competitive so I saved a load of dosh as well; I'd call that a win! Thank you Beezermac!

Tomcat just received his 1st parts order from Priory magnetos, and have to say I'm impressed. All parts are good quality, packed properly, and arrived here in Oz quickly. Thanks Andrew. Cheers Tomcat

I can supply A65 parts but I specialise in A7 A10 parts. I'm not keen on diversifying but if you have a reasonably large order I can probably source it for you. Thanks
