Quick replies to "Just a Picture"
« on: 05.10. 2015 14:59 »
In keeping with trying to keep "Just a Picture" chat-free, this topic hopefully provides the outlet, which I need right now.

Bill Harrison - beautiful bikes, absolutely! Also, perfect use of Just a Picture.

Bill Harrison - You are definitely high on the list of those here keeping the marque alive at a high quality (that I don't pretend to approach).  (...but you will need several more if you intend to have the most.  *smile*)

I've reached the limits of my shed/garage space unfortunately. Kind comments, thanks.

Patcross,

Well, "Just A Picture" has almost worked too well. You totally went with the spirit fo the topic, but this is the first time that I recall a brand new member using it as his first post and intro to the forum.  *welcome* That is a perfect project bike. I think I'm not alone wondering how you found it, what made you look for it and whereabouts (approximately) you're located. Again, welcome, and glad you decided to join the forum.

This topic is where I (we?) respond to "Just a Picture" to keep the chat out of there. Let me say, there have been many great pictures since I last commented here. Taking nothing away from any of them, the latest from The Engineer is just stunning  with the beautiful bike sitting in the snow and a great sky above.

Bob,

Sorry if it seems that I am assuming some authority that I truly don't have. (Meaaning, I don't have any authority.) When I thought of the "Just a Picture" topic, my hope was to get a big collection of pictures of our bikes in one easily viewed place without obliging members to provide a story (which they can, and do, do elsewhere). Here is the first post in "Just a Picture" explaining the idea:

https://www.a7a10.net/forum/index.php?topic=7964.msg55981#msg55981

If you think this is not a good concept, I would be happy to start another topic called "Pictures of Bikes With Little Stories Which Are About To Become Oil Threads".  *smiley4*

Now, if I could, indeed, make rules.........  *eek* *smiley4*

Best regards,

Richard L.

No need for that, it's only possible to ride one at at time unless you have family or friends with no bike and they need to go where yougo- but only if they live out of the area-     aaaah sorry but it was  a quick one
