Coater87, in your latest picture I can see that you have the kickstart Cotter pin in the wrong way round, (unless you want the Kickstarter more anticlockwise than normal)

 Without seeing the pic, I have to say I had mine off the other day and as an experiment, I replaced it the other way which is 'Head' up and nut on the bottom/to rear; reason/logic being that may provide more surface bearing area....because even though it works fine, is a bit deformed as it was. Can post a pic later if need be...definite change in lever angle but not enough to spill my drink over

 Kick start cutter backwards, because that lever beats the road tar out of my exhaust pipes. It's not permanent.

 That's the correctly cranked kick start lever. $100.00 U.S. for stripping and new chrome plating. Just picked it up.

 As far as control levers go, I surely hope those are not permanent. Just cheap looking and feeling. Made by Emgo.

 I wish these bikes had 1 inch bars, it would be a lot easier to find good quality controls. But I want to say these levers were something like $50.00 for the pair, so expectations should not be too high I guess.

Bought this new A10S with
Peter D’s approval. I’ve owned a few Triumphs since the A7.
61 T110 Cafe and a couple of Bonnie’s (67 TT Special replica and a 68) The TT gave me a hankering for another Scrambler. A genuine one this time.
