G'day KiwiGF.
Nice pic mate. Hope those skid marks weren't from trying to avoid that old Pommy bike on the side of the road  *lol*
Cheers

Well spotted but the skid marks were no doubt made by one of those hoons in a hotted up ute that you get in rural towns  *razz* ....I think you get them in aussie too.

A few miles away from me there is an amazing ex-windmill. I cannot park close to it but I'll try to a picture of my bike with the mill In the background. Here is someone else's photo of it. It's called Chesterton Mill.

Strange mill GB, I wonder if it ever was a mill, or is it a Folly
Mills generally had a facility to turn the sails into the wind which meant some bit somewhere had to revolve.
So not being an expert but as they say "just saying"
All the best - Bill
1961 Flash - stock, reliable, steady, fantastic for shopping
1959 Rocket Gold Flash - blinged and tarted up  would have seizure if taken to  Tesco

GB,

When was that Death Valley picture taken? Probably not this year in the 132 degF heat. I spent my first 45 years in L.A. and never got to Death Valley (that I recall).

Death Valley was scorching.
I think it was about 15 years ago. Here are links to my Flickr albums of the month we spent in California. It was a fabulous holiday. Yosemite was stunning!

GB, I thought you were about my age but your last picture suggests (from your wardrobe) that I’m way off the mark.

What’s the secret?

Good pics GB. I've done pretty much that road trip myself. Loved it.
