Villiers spares

Does anyone, preferably in Europe, East or Southern Africa have any Villiers 123cc 3 speed engine spares? A complete engine with carb would great, but anything considered.  Its for James ML circa 1945/6
I need a few cycle arts as well, so whatever you may have, could be interesting to me!

I've got a small Villiers motor kicking around at home - no clue what it is. Can you give me some clues on how we can tell if it would meet your requirements?

Hi,
The villiers motor that Guy is after is a '9D'
This motor was fitted to a lot of James motor cycles during the war and continued until about 1948.
The motor has an alloy twin port head and iron barrel.
Bore is 50mm, stroke is 62mm. It delivered about 3.5hp with a compression ratio of 6.5:1.
Engine number is prefixed with 'AAA' and has an 'A' suffix.  (AAA.......A)
It has a hand change gear shift.
It is cute as a button but would not pull the skin off a custard.
The ML was the first civilian model after the war and is similar to the military version.
All together about 26000 were made.
When they wore out, they were thrown away by the thousands.

I think mine was one the ones that was thrown away
Here's a picture of what I'm looking for engine wise. Specifically I'm missing the gearbox outer casing, kickstart and the carburettor.

I think mine is more 'modern' than that. I'll check engine numbers when I'm back in the UK. Probly around next weekend.

Thank you. I think they used the engines in Norman lightwaves as well. I have a Uk address near Cambridge if it is a match,
