Wanted. Matched pair of early CA10 crankcases
« on: 26.03. 2009 21:27 »
Wanted. A good usable matched pair of crankcases to suit my 1954 swinging arm A10 gold flash project.   Somewhere around  'CA10-250'  would be ideal. Please let me know if you have anything close. Regards, Peter.  petercranwell@fsmail.net

Of cause, a complete early CA10 engine or just a bottom end to overhaul would be ok as well.

how about CA10.8827 I have a set of bare cases I bought them as a pair the lower rear engine plate hole just next to the sump has a bit broken from it each side but is repairable and looking inside their is a small gouge where possibly the right hand conrod has snapped sometime.
I am in Wiltshire yours for what I paid £200 no only joking £20
If no good then just say I will not be offended

Hi Folks.
Just a reminder that I'm still searching for some early 'CA10' crankcases, bottom end or complete engine, what ever is out there would be good. Any 'CA10' numbered cases below 'CA10.1000' would be great or as an alternative a pair of 'CA10R' or 'CA10RR' cases with a number in the 2000's (or lower) would suit my needs. People have suggested that its not really that important but I would like something in the same region as the originals. Thanks, Peter.  petercranwell@fsmail.net
