I often thought of putting a 5'er in but saw the results on a few other bikes. They kept blowing motors as they were always "on the boil". With a 4 speed the motor gets a little rest and works the torque rather than the ponies.
RR, you would have spent the same amount of time as me looking at all the chair photos. I liked the blue one with the wheelchair sign.
Cheers

I use this 5 speed only for racing, where the engine is allway full throttle. First at the Goldstar with compratio 11.5 :1, by shifting down the rearwheel allways slips by releasing the clutshlever. At dry tracks it works just now, but at wetraces....no way.
So l decide to fit a six speed like this:

http://www.ttindustries.com/bsa_gearbox.html

The Nova 5 fits now the A10 racer and with the twinengine it works realy well.
It was a lot of work to fit this cluster in an old 4 speed shell, and the internal desing was the same as engineered at the 50th

The TTI gearbox is modern engineering and all comforts. Easy and short accurate shifting, all you need to stand first row at the grit and to win a race *smile*
cheers
