Forum Appreciation
« on: 01.01. 2015 15:32 »
Gents,

First of all, Erling, please stop reading right now.

I know many won't need reminding, but I thought this was a good day to remember the money and extensive time that Admin puts into this forum to keep it a great place. I think most everyone here has saved time and money, or had the value of their bike enhanced by information gained here. Then, there is the immeasurable value of the camaraderie. There is a Paypal link set up where you can make a donation, if you are inclined. http://www.a7a10.net/forum/index.php?topic=4439.msg29772#msg29772

Regards,

Richard L.

G'day all.
I agree totally with Richard and make a modest donation once a year. I don't actually know how much it costs to run the show but do understand the considerable time involved.
Cheers

Jus tried to make a payment from the link http://www.a7a10.net/paypal.htm and it did not work for me.  Probably missed something.  However, I can make a payment direct from my paypal account.  If I do this route, is *** (adm edit: email removed, use pm) the correct address to use?  Still learning about these new fangled options.
ATB and thank for all the hard work.

Have a look here. Clicking the link in the admin's post puts you straight on to the PayPal page;

Just finished doing mine.
Cheers all *beer*

Edit; just noticed that it's the same link, so something must have gone wrong there for you Keith. It worked for me

Just tried http://www.a7a10.net/forum/index.php?topic=4439.msg29776#msg29776 and it took me to  http://www.a7a10.net/forum/index.php?topic=4439.msg29776#msg29776 (the same address?)
There I got to http://www.a7a10.net/paypal.htm
That's where I was before.
Not to worry though, I just logged in to my paypal account and made a donation from there, simple!
What I did notice when using the links from this forum was I was asked to enter my cc details whereas using the paypal on other sites, it already had my cc details.
Topic closed?

Att. Keith, tested the paypal link, on my pc(s) it takes me to PP's "Please enter your donation amount", can't find any errors. See attachment. Anyway, your donation arrived, so all is well.

Thanks to all for the contributions, and to Richard for continuous and friendly support.

That was what I saw but I have not been shown that page on any other web site when I have gone to use paypal to by my cc.  Perhaps it is to do with using a "foreign" web site/other denomination?  Job done, that's what matters.

Just sent a small contribution as appreciation of a great and friendly forum - I have not been very active as my Beeza has been running rather well during 2015 (knock on wood) but I still need to take a daily look and get my daily BSA dose  *smile*
