  • B31 frame with A7 Shooting Star Engine
NewMember Intruducing myself
« on: 11.08. 2014 19:30 »
Hi, I,m Rob, I bought this bike a couple of months ago, picture is as it was restored some 10 years ago, unfortunatly is was never ridden as the previous owner was taken ill and it sat deteriorating in a garage.
Basically its a B31 that has had an A7 500cc Shooting Star engine installed, from what I have read the only difference with the B31 frame is the additional bend in the front so that the 350 engine fitted.
Have just started a Nut and Bolt Resto job on it, thankfully, as have already found that the front brake was re-built incorrectly! (Pic below is as re-built)
Hope to use this site to help out on some of the bits i,m not sure of.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
See you in the forum.
Rob

G'day Rob,  *welcome*.
Top marks for being able to get an avatar and post pictures on your 1st post, and a nice intro.
The beauty of this forum is we're all here to help one another and only too glad to do so.
Best of luck with the resto.
