been having trouble for a while now with tick over lumpy/uneven also right hand cylinder running more rich than left,
so was thinking about a bias gasket, (previous post) but a message came from rgs bill suggesting that i check other things first,
hi also pointed me to a website with more info about the problem.
so taking all info on board had a look and found this (see pick) gasket stuck up above the fiber spacer on both sides, so trimmed of with sharp knife put her back together and went for a ride to warm her up. tick over is a lot better now and mixture screw is a lot more responsive. just got to run her for a while to see how the rich cylinder is doing. so as i say a big thanx to bill also the forum for which has made a lot of info possible
