1930's Burman 6 inch friction clutch plates
« on: 02.06. 2014 17:01 »
I know this may be unlikely but does anybody have a spare set (four) of the Burman 6 inch 4 spring friction clutch plates that were used by Ariel / Panther / others in the early to mid 1930's that they don't need? I believe that the part number is 3X/M1. It does not matter if they are worn out as long as they are flat and re-corkable. I sent my set to Mike Chenery, who has taken over Bob Metson's re-corking business, for re-corking which he did but they have been lost in the post on their return. It has been five weeks now and no sign of them and Mike has not managed to find a replacement set. If anybody has a set then please could you let me know. Thanks, John
