1954 A7SS valve spring keepers
« on: 08.05. 2014 23:36 »
Hi all,
I need a complete set of upper and lower valve spring keepers, and valve collets, to suit an early A7 alloy head (separate inlet manifold).

Can anyone help please?

Many thanks,

Richard

Richard,
Doesn't the A7SS use the same springs, cups, caps and colletts as the Flash & A7?
Surely you have plenty of them lying about your shop.

Hi Trev,
I was hoping they were all the same part.

Don't think I have any spare collets & keepers; several bare iron heads only.

I had a look at the parts book, Richard, and found that the only odds one out in the valve department are the Rockets, as I thought.
I'll have a look through my bits and see if there are any orphans.

Hi Wozza,
What a bunch of great people on this forum!

Thanks for your help.

Brian has found the parts I need, except for two of the upper cups; so they are the only other items I am needing now.

Therefore, thanks very much for your help, but Brian has "covered" the bottom adaptors for me.

Regards,
Richard
