Desperately seeking a tank....

For a 1949 B31 plunger.

Fair condition ok, as long as it is repairable.

Many thanks,
Richard

Hi Dutch, no speedo in tank model (see attached pic).

Stephen, UK source no problem.

I also have a tank for swap if this appeals to anyone ; pic showing it sitting on an A7 long stroke frame. I believe it is a "B" series tank, but with the pressed  recesses for the tank badges.

Unfortunately the original tank is rusted badly on the inside, and is too thin in places,  to repair!

Many thanks,

Richard

"Orabanda" ,
The tank I have is the same as the one on the long stroke frame (badge recesses) unfortunately .
It is however very solid & I dont recall any dents in the chrome area ?

Please let Me know if it is any use to You .

I would be interested in swaps for My long stroke "Star Twin" if so ? (camshaft , etc) ?

I think if I were doing it for Myself that I would solder circles in place with the correct threaded inserts for the badges correct for Your year as
this area is enamelled anyway ?

Best Wishes,
Steve ..
