Thanks for that.

There doesn't seem to be much in the way of forums for model engineering out there.

A lathe is on top of my "please santa I've been a good boy" list, but it won't happen this year, maybe later next year if I can scrape some money together.

It's funny I can always justify spending a few quid on the bikes, but stumping up (or is that saving up) the cash for tools always seems painful.
