Plunger frame
« on: 28.08. 2013 08:28 »
A mate rang me today with the news that he had a quote to repair
his 51 Plunger frame which has a bend in the down tubes just down from the head stock.
$900.00    *pull hair out*

Anyone know of someone who can do the repair in Melbourne or he is prepaired to buy another frame at a realistic price if anyone has spares?  ..

Thanks WozzA

I paid I think $400 to have mine done by Dave Kellet in Brizzy...if that's any help- had a slight bent downtube, and offset rear end
Started building in about 1977/8 a on average '52 A10 -built from bits 'n pieces never resto intended -maybe 'personalised'
Have a '74 850T Moto Guzzi since '92-best thing I ever bought doesn't need a kickstart 'cos it bump starts sooooooooo(mostly) easy
