Greetings frae the Borderlands
« on: 27.07. 2013 22:11 »
Hi folks
this is my 1961 super rocket in its current (mild cafe latte?) state, Ive owned this for more years than I can believe and its been in a few different forms over that time. I bought it in a sort of street scrambler mode wide bars, low gearing and 1 gallon Metisse tank and Matching seat. TT100 tyres meant I learned to power slide round the wet cobbled streets of Edinbugh. 1 gallon tank meant I pushed the fekker for miles through said wet streets.
SRM engine spitfire cam all balanced and polished, Twin leader makes her stop as well as it goes.

Hope to speak/annoy meet you soon

cheers

Being all black with shiny bits makes it look kind of Vincenty. I like the cheeky bum-like seat!

Looks nice! Welcome.
I've pushed mine along a few miles of Edinburgh streets as well.
Cheers,
Iain

Very nice looking bike Borderer.
I like your choice of rims too. About the same weight as steel ones but 10 times stronger.
