Found on an old Byrds CD....The track" Nashville West" is a good riding tune. You can imagine it's GB's happy shriek, celebrating mechanical success, towards the end.

a10gf - that song is how I feel when the bike's broken down again. Hardly a 'let's give it some welly' inspiration.

GB I've seen Steve Gibbons live more times in the last few years and he is still going strong, but now with snowy white hair and a more relaxed style of performance. He sings more like Bob Dylan than Bob Dylan, you would swear Mr Dylan was in the room.  Along with Dave Pegg, PJ Wright, Phil Bond and drummer Jerry Conway, these musicians occasionally perform as "The Dylan Project" and are well worth seeing.

12 pages on this topic, have not read them all, but hard to believe being a British Bike forum that much of the NWOBHM doesnt get a lot of traction.

I used to be a dedicated guitar player and these guys were amazing, still are. Have seen them multiple times as well as met them in person.

Iron Maiden,   Eddy, the mascot is iconic.  I also have met and attended shows for the Iron Maidens which is a all female tribute band sanctioned by Maiden.
