Plunger Clutch Cover
« on: 19.05. 2013 06:27 »
Hi All, Anyone know where I can obtain the tin clutch cover + nuts for my '51 plunger? I used the bike for years...., (55 years, I bought it on my 15th birthday, I'm now 71), more or less dry. now I've fixed the chain case leak & added oil, the clutch slips.

Cheers, Wally

PS. I've posted this as a "new topic", have I done wrong?

G'day Wally, maybe should have gone in the wanted & for sale section and topic called plunger clutch cover. I'll see what I can do.
I saw a cover on ebay a few days ago, will have a look. Cover part # 67-3263, nuts #67-3266 and are 2BA, washer # 29-3319.
Yes mine slips too without the cover.
Cheers

Hiya Wally, I bought some nuts from DragAnfly a few months ago, haven't tried them for fit tho', they may do a cover too....(maybe)
Started building in about 1977/8 a on average '52 A10 -built from bits 'n pieces never resto intended -maybe 'personalised'
Have a '74 850T Moto Guzzi since '92-best thing I ever bought doesn't need a kickstart 'cos it bump starts sooooooooo(mostly) easy
