K-tec conversions, are they still in business?

My K-tec 12v conversion electronic box does not regulate the charging properly any more. The ammeter goes off scale (>8A) even with the lights on and I am worried that I may fry the dynamo if I keep using it.

I would like to get into contact with the manufacturer (I think his name is C.W. Bradford) to discuss the problem but I do not have his contact details.

G'day jonaf, I can't find anything on K-tec but would consider a DVR2 in it's place.

Just got a message from Nooky's Nuts who sold me the regulator that the manufacturer has gone out of business.
I think I'd better order a DVR2, then.  Thanks for the advice, Muskrat 
Tomorrow I am going to take part in a local classic bike rally and I'll just disconnect the the field coil wire to save the dynamo from running to hot.

A 7 ohms ceramic resistor in series with the field coil lowered the charging current to an acceptable level. The cut-in speed is now a little higher but that will also help when it comes to keeping the dynamo cool. wink2
A DVR2 has been ordered and £50 have gone into to Dynamoregulators' PayPal account.

You won't regret buying a DVR2. Currently the best regulator available.
