Number Plates
« on: 15.11. 2008 08:13 »
Gday,
From whence did these plates originate?
They came with a 52 star twin basket case.
The rego was paid in dollars and cents.
It was black and chrome though there is no evidence of either on the pile of rubble.
They certainly are not 1966 Queensland plates. maybe a USA import??
perhaps 'AA' is Alcoholics Anonymous. Any ideas??
cheers

I reckon the V.B. plate originated in Victoria. [And should have stayed there]!

Olev, I am fairly sure they are not South Aust plates. SA used two letters and three numbers. On the rego disc it looks like it has a stamp in the bottom RH corner, if you remove the disc from the holder and have a carefull look you make be able to make out which state its from.
