RGS/GS Touring rear brake pedal 42-7003?

I am currently looking for a touring brake pedal, 42-7003, for my RGS and like most people finding it extremely difficult to find one.

Spoke to Autocycle, who make the clubmans version and enquired about a touring version and they advise that they were looking to have one made at the same time as the clubmans version but did not continue as they felt there was not enough demand?

Basically they would need to have a guaranteed min order base of around 25 to 50 with the price being around the £100 mark, yes high but the sort of price you can pay on e-bay for a used one?

Anyway, I thought I'd give it a mention here, if there are 25 to 50 of you out there looking for a touring rear brake pedal, 42-7003, for a RGS or GS then perhaps let Autocycle know and if the numbers were there they might proceed?

Well , I would be Autocycles customer number 2 .. I have a 1954 A7 SS Swingarm model that I believe uses this part .. £100 is steep but kind of "acceptable" . I see the other one is $220 which equates to approx £165 with shipping then there are Customs import rip off charges. So, it could easily touch £250 in total .

Just Chucked an email at autocycle to see what they can come up with. Nice if they could do a small production run of these brake pedals.

Ok, Just heard from Autocycle and they have not and not going to put the brake pedal 42-7003 into production. They are only doing the short Clubmans ones .

Fair call GPO746, Difference being that the one we have is also GENUINE BSA, and is New Old Stock (unused). And the biggest difference is... We have it right here on the shelf hahaha 
So sometimes there is a reason for paying the little extra
