1947 A7 For Sale
« on: 13.04. 2013 09:33 »
Some of you will have seen the pictures of my father's 1947 A7 in another thread.
After much thought he has decided to put it up for sale, he hasn't ridden it for a while but has regularly started it up. It has been kept under covers in the garage so not open to the elements.

The bike is a 1947 A7, registered in 1948 with gauge in the tank.
MOT and TAX not required, although there are a number of past MOT certificates and original registration certificate with the bike which corroborates the engine and frame numbers.
My father has owned it for about 5 years and we know little about previous history although we  have some details of it being rebuilt. Since being rebuilt it has done only 6258 miles.

For more details please message me. I haven't provided any photos as they can be seen here. http://www.a7a10.net/forum/index.php?topic=6912.0

Price £5,250 and buyer would have to collect from south Hampshire.

Sadly, it can't be mine, but I bet it's gone to someone here before the end of the day.

 Make that x3.
What a shame he couldn't enjoy it more. It should go quick at that price.

If it was in Oz it would be sold...
Almost no chance of finishing my A10 for the May 4th long ride so now looking at a borrowed H.D or a Z1000; one is unlikely to make the distance and the other will only carry me and my toothbrush! the A7 would be perfect.

Thanks again for all your great comments.  The A7 has now been sold to a good home.
