The bipolar colors made my brain go funny, but it looks like a seriously fun bike!

Maybe not, but then, if I it gives you enjoyment, what else counts?
Am hoping it will run fine and see lots of good roads.

Great to see Dutch. Looks like fun. Nice to see another plunger with a big fin alloy head. Can you give us a closer look at the carb and maifold set up.
Cheers

Chuckles all round there- the colour scheme was accidental and experimental, I couldn't decide if I want red or blue (obviously), saw these colour rattle cans in Repco (auto supply chain), and had to give it a whirl, cut a long story short too much same colour in one place...and yup it looks like it landed on a police car- but no one died....
By coincidence, Mr A.D. Guthrie was coming to town, and I often sing that particular song of his(in my mind- along with the other voices) and it occurred to me that, just maybe I'd subconsciously been building my interpretation of what a "Motorcycle Song Sickle' should look like- for the last 35 years. I did manage to round him up briefly and ask, showed him a pic, and he showed me a pic of his (late model) Indian- but that's another story....
Muskie, I'll try and do some pics of the inlet tract tomorrow, I noticed tonight when I went out(yes- AFTER dark set in), that after a few k's, the inlet tract was quite cold...so have to analyse that one, I think it may be normal..???

The clutch is doing slippy/draggy stuff, and the Carb settings need juggling, but in spite of that, dead set- it's FUN
Thanks for Liking or at least appreciating...
 Cheers

Oh yeah Muskie- I know you not fond of trumpets, but I have to get them out of my system..!!

Dutch I've enjoyed your slant on many topics over the past months where you've helped and encouraged whilst obviously getting on with your rebuild , hope you enjoy the bike which looks great, whichever way youre going , I bet you're wearing that silly grin Bill mentioned that we all have when we get on an "A", best of luck to you BobH.

Nice one Dutch!...... Looks good to me.
Interesting choice of tyres, Metzeler semi off road if I am not wrong? Any reason for that? They are good road tyres but don't last very long, but if you ride off tarmac now and then it's a great compromise.

Let me echo the others, looks like fun and probably making you pretty happy right now. Metalflake is probably half right about the tires. The tread you see is probably Metzler. The tread you can't see is Dunlop, in keeping with the theme of the bike.  *smile*

Tyres are in fact Metzler Enduro 1 (F), & 2 (R), had a chooky back in the eighties, mostly road use, but living in the country on a dirt road. They were great on the mountain windies, so figured they'd be good on Beeza, which they are- friggin' awesome in fact.
More later, on errands just stopped for a coldie

OK Dutch, you stumped me.  I've been around long enough to get most of the Brit, Aussie, and Kiwi expressions I see tossed around, but what the heck is a "chooky"???

Aha looks like "Chooky" hasn't got stateside yet, I or someone had to ask a while ago IIRC it's a hen, chicken or cockerel , I used to keep them many years ago, not a financial plus by any means but nothing beats a new lain egg (like a wisk - Ha) ( at risk of wondering off topic  here so) I never kept BANTAMS though.

Ha, a chooky is short for chook chaser which is slang for trail bike that as kids we chased the chooks (chickens) around the paddock. Clear as mud.
