I'm also trying to bring myself up-to-date on what should be included on a real RGS.  I have read there is a kink in the frame to accommodate the oil pump and I believe I see that kink at the bottom of the right down tube?

Thanks,

Steve

Hi Steve,
the the kink i3 there for the Gold star engine not the A10 engine.
i am going to sell my Super rocker engine and revert the bike back to a Clubman Gold star and fit a DBD34 engine that i am getting built  by Phil Pearson in Great Yarmouth.

Steve,
A "real" RGS frame is ALMOST identical to the 1954/5 A7/A10 frame.

i could of gone the rgs root with a goldstar 57 chassis i obtained, but lucky for me i found a dbd34 engine,so now i'm gradually collecting parts for a goldstar srcrambler, while in the meantime, making my mind up whether to do a full width hub spitfire, or again a half witdth hub a10 scrambler, good luck with the bike ,shearwoods are good for the cycleparts pearson for the engine,he will build it to your spec,be it 350 or 650.
