Wanted: Dynamo bearing retainer

The drive side bearing retainer on my dynamo is broken. Where do I find a replacement? Nothing on ebay...

                                                The only thing I could find is a complete one ebay #  350650613287  . You might be lucky and find a forum member with one. Good luck.

Welcome to the forum. Looking forward to seeing some pictures of your bike and, maybe, the story that goes with it. I suggest you try Davelindsley.co.uk for the dynamo part. Looking at his parts list, it appears to be his part number 218 (original, 200224), but be sure to check that this is correct before ordering.

I may not need a replacement retainer after all
I made an attempt to fix it with steel expoxy resin reinforced with 0.8mm welding wire, which seems to be successful.  The pot metal and the epoxy are of similar hardness (softness, rather) so it was fairly easy to machine on the lathe.
