Original ones in good condition are now quite rare, I saw one at Stanford Hall founders day and the seller wanted £200. I think there are some reproduction ones being made and that may be the best option.

Thanks I keep bidding on them on ebay and always seem to lose out. Lots of people just sit there as the auction ends to win things and I dont have the time or inclination :(

I have a nice chain case cover.  Didn't realize I should have made sure it had the clutch adjustment access so This one doesn't so I am in the hunt again.  I paid $150 US dollars.  That's the price plus shipping fee.  If you want to see it, send me your email address.

Thanks,

Steve

Steve,
               Aren't your bikes pre 1960?
If so, the chaincase cover doesn't have a clutch adjustment hole.

Hey Trev,

'58 SR.  With the inspection hole, wouldn't I have an easier job adjusting the clutch rather than taking off the primary case and foot peg?  In't that what the inspection hole is for?

Thanks,

Steve

Steve,
How often does a clutch need adjusting?
I would rather set it up to run true before sealing it up and hopefully not have to touch it again for many years.

Trev,

Yeah, me too.

Don't forget this is my 1st time around on this A10 merry-go-round.  Ultimately, all I want is to set myself and the bike up with the best chance for improved maintenance and preventing breakdowns.

I will have dozens more questions before this project is done.  Which I hope is this up-coming summer.  I bought this bike/project as a distraction from the grueling 6 months of chemotherapy I have been slammed with.  It's been fun sitting in my chair ordering parts and communicating with you guys.  I have lost 20 pounds and it's tough getting it back.  Hope the heck I can kick start this thing when the time comes.

Thanks,

Steve
