N3C is the Champion plug that you need.

Bacon states Champion L85 for the 1960-63 GF which is one grade hotter than the N3.

Hi Frankie.

  Make  NGK          Type  B7HC
  Make  Champion   Type  L7
  Make  Lodge        Type  H14
  Make  KLG           Type  F80
  1/2 Inch reach

This information is according to a popular owners workshop manual. so its probably wrong. *eek*

N-type plug is too long for an iron head.  L78C should be good.  Most of the other types have been discontinued and even this one will be hard to find.  NGK B7HS is a little easier to find, though still not common.  Locally, I can get the equivalent Autolite 413 no problem and they work fine on my Flash.

At the moment im using

NGK B6HS

These seem to be fine but i have not been able to do many miles on them due to the adverse weather conditions. i will keep a lookout for the NGK B7HS and replace with these next tinker time.

I used to find my A7SS ran better on Champion than on NGK or Nippon Denso plugs but I think that was still the old grades before they became obsolete. They were £1.99 for a set of four at Halfords if I recall correctly. Happy days.....
