63 on the road

G'day Everyone,
Had the 63 on the road over a year now, all is good "touch wood",
as you can see, the rear end has some 70's modifications, but besides that
the rest of the bike is pretty standard. Ended up fitting cocktail shakers
for mufflers, not the classic look, but sound great & don't go so close to
my centre stand lever. She's no show winner, but runs really well .

I wanna say what Musky did, but he got in first!

 Like the seat- is that stock,just different upholstery? Nice profile though!
 I got 'Cocktail Shakers'/ Trumpets for mine too- reckon they're classic enough, but made some little 25˚up-sweeps for them, bit of a mish, still waiting fro the remakes to manifest(long story). What baffles do they have ? Mine came with very little- just about a 6" long piece of perforated tube, so I used some leftovers from my Guzzi/HD shotgun remakes ie; like the baffles that Conti's have in them. Dunno how they'll go though?

Dutch, the baffles are pretty much what you said, but I don't think I'll change them,
sounds too good, & the cars certainly know your around!
The seat was on the bike when I got it from the states, it has an alloy base & is
fairly professionally made, a real 70's piece, & the original Sparto tail light, I thought they
were too good to leave off. Below is a pic what I purchased from the states on ebay,
took a punt, was pretty ugly, but engine would have been lucky to have done 5,000 miles,
if you have a look at that front end...I guess that's why. No one wanted it, got the guy
to strip it down & crate it up, had to leave the frame over there, the number was
missing after someone modified the neck, but ended up finding another '63 frame later
on,

 Those pipes are interesting, almost contemporary, in a fu..fu..up-,funny, not-so-retro-kind-of way??
 Was trying to re-route them up behind the g-box, along s/a before sweeping up, but there'd be a few hot ankles there, and still look debatable!!
