As usual I am all behind, just noticed this thread *spider* I am from uk originally but now live near Perpignan south France for 8 years.Great roads here too. The only trouble is if I need spares it all has to be done by post.
There are few British bikes in this area and it always gets people chatting when ever I or with my fellow Brit bike owners go anywhere on a 'ballarde' Does the language skils a power of good!

Any other owners in this area on the forum?
est-il des autres propriétaires sur le forum dans ce domaine?
I like bike, especially my 61'SR

saltbox Alf,

Alpes Maritimes, quand je suis en France. Long time since I've been there, health reasons, still got a small house up in the mountains behind Nice\Cannes. Am hoping to go there this summer. Take a look here http://www.a7a10.net/forum/index.php?&topic=411.0

btw, Perpignan, know the area & the Pyrénées very well, have been a frequent visitor, favorite place: Collioure.
For those who look for a place to visit, see http://www.collioure.com/

Collioure looks great. Is it over-run with tourists (the likes of me)? Having just returned from Italy, the next European stop I make I would prefer to be less popular.

Hi,
I'm originally "Made in England" but thrown out to live in Antwerp, Belgium,
Seems as good a place as any!  Just lacks hills but so close to everywhere else that does have for it not to matter much!

Is that the 'Jolly Jumbuck' type roast dinners Bob?? My ancestors came here as 'Free Settlers'- kind of boring really!!
If you didn't see my posts about my school days........

Julian, the up side of that means a bit further to go to the ups n downs, fun to be had on the way.... is that the Flemish part of town??

Cheers

Yep! Flemish!  *conf*  not sure anyone actually understands it though!  I think it's just a made up language to confuse the rest of us  *smile*
