G'day Chicago,
looks like they have a bit more life in them. They run in oil and last a long time.
It would be a big job to convert the duplex to a single, the clutch and mainshaft are different. I have heard that a norton clutch will fit on the shaft but I haven't seen one.
Cheers

Yes pretty certain the Norton(diaphragm? been a while since I spelt that) Clutch is the same spline, I had one to do it , but the chainwheel is bigger diameter and wouldn't fit, unless they come in differing sizes for other models -also I think triplex chain. I figured easier to just keep it simple the duplex works ok from memory, and in anticipation.

Muskrat,

Good find, if they actually have it. The price next to it is a hopeful sign. A few years ago, British Only sold their inventory of new and N.O.S. stock BSA parts to Domiracer. I think a lot of their used parts did not go with the sale. The unfortunate thing about both British Only and Domiracer is their severe shortage of photos. I wish they would take a lesson from British Only - Austria as to how to do a website.

Sorry at risk of going of topic!!?? Also in my search for valve collars, which arrived monday and are now in place,I found this site in um...well one of those scandinavian countries(?), but the pictures and numbers I found ok just have to imagine the other stuff and prices don't work for me!!
