G'day Pedro, welcome to the forum.
We ride all year down here too. I like to remind those northerners now and then  *smile*.
Hope to see it off the rack soon.
Cheers

Pedro,

Hola, and welcome to the forum. We look forward to more photos of your interesting modified bike. As to your thanks for the welcomes, de nada.

Scarcity of BSA's is not unique to Mexico, even if it is a bit leaner there. In the twenty years I've lived outside of Chicago I haven't seen another A10 on the road and very few A65's. If I ride sixty miles to the nearest vintage motorcycle shop, or maybe go to a British vehicle show, I'll see them. Otherwise, mine is pretty much alone near me.

lucky you're only 65 miles! my wife is going to vegas this week and i am having some parts mailed from abq,nm to her there.
my last shipment was from edmonton alberta via fedex[$120cdn and duty 20 bucks] to my door.
pistons, rings and gaskets.
i can't even get metal high tension leads here so i just installed some from an old beetle temporarily.
i hope i can get her going again saturday but i'm having trouble with the amal concentric barrel warping. just sanded it inside again.

I think this will go to a carb discussion,  so maybe admin will relocate the thread.  Anyway,  the Amal is known to warp on overtightening of the flange bolts,  particularly if a soft gasket is used.  By the way,  I'm not the expert here on Amals (or,  maybe, anything) so others may chime in to correct me.

Very kind of you Goldy, though I have stepped on my tongue enough times here to know my limits (though I don't claim to be an expert in knowing my limits  *smile* ).

Very nice Pedro. You were lucky to get that # plate. When I first registered my '51 I got BSA-51 plate.
I don't think Dutchy meant the bike  ;)

That is so cool.  I'd love to ride that.  Now,  Muskrat,  I am most certain Dutch was very careful to be referring to the bike.

OK but I recon most others weren't thinking of the bike  *smile*
Turn the bars upside down and move the pegs back as far as they are forward and a race # plate. I could ride that. Only kidding.
How long did it take from 1st photo to last?
Cheers
