1952 plunger flash
« on: 24.03. 2012 13:15 »
Hi guys

Took the flash for a 220 km burn up on friday along with my trusted Enfield & a 1976 Honda 550 F. Inspite of  the 40 deg temp all m/cs performed excellently, especially the flash. Joy to ride
Attaching a few photos taken at a pit stop on the edge of a 2000 ft drop into the valley below

Take care

Anji,

Always great to here from you and see photos of your amazing country and countryside. Stay in touch. Maybe one of your tours should be on all of our bucket lists, I know I imagine it on mine.

definition: "bucket list"
A list of things to do before you die. Comes from the term "kicked the bucket".

(If this term is internationally common, please don't take offense by my including the definition.)

The paintwork looks an excellent camouflage against the colour of the dirt. Excellent photo! It looks like its around Poonah / Pune? Are the Hippies still there? Many years have passed since I was there with them.  *smile*

Thanks LJ. Yes this is about 100kms from Pune near Lonavala. The hippie pop has dwindled here as most of them have moved to Manali, Dharamsala , Goa Etc where smokes are more easily available !!!!

Take care

Hi Dutch

Thanks. Yes, that problem was finally sorted out. Had to cut the outer shroud to release the spring as it was refusing to budge. Rewelded the shroud & lightly polished up the inside to marginally increase the id, repainted & she's back on the road. Never a dull moment, is there?
Take care
