my pride and joy
« on: 06.03. 2012 17:21 »
Thanks LJ, Heres a picture ,at last of my A10. Rebuilt by me in 2001 from my old A7SS which I'd had since 1967 when I was 17. Lots of her were stolen but enough remains to remind me of that bike . Same colour scheme which suits me but I know some people will hate but she always draws a lot of attention when parked up. This snap was taken on new years day 2012 when I just ridden her to her new home , lovely way to round off the new year celebrations, any way will try to post somemore once i'm out again, best wishes bobh.

I was too afraid to mention the 'upside down' knee grips, thought I'd leave that to Musky to comment on.  *smile* The silver paintwork looks grand especially the oil tank... matches the car too!  *smile*

Good morning LJ, Yes they are unusual ,they 'll be changed BEFORE I post another , shows you're with friends when you don't have to worry about daft mistakes. But I will stand in the corner for 2 hours !!The colour was as close to my original bikes as the painter had in stock , and was 8 yrs ago, a light metalic blue with a dark blue metalic for the frame the blue has faded over the past 5 or so yrs to look a quite plain silver ,originally i used Jaguar shades of light & dark met blue when you could get cellulous .In cidentally the car in the background was on that day dead, minus 8 had killed it's ingnition ,modern tech eh?? the bike ,after standing for a year started after 6 kicks , quite surprised and impressed my non beliver in BSA/nonbiker Son . once again many thanks to all for your help with the picture reducer, best wishes bob
