Identification?
« on: 28.11. 2011 02:52 »
Searching through my box of bits I came across these 2 little beauties??
I dont have a clue what they are, or where they go..  *sad2*
I've searched my service sheets- work shop & Parts Manual ... zilch..   ????

the one on top is 1" long threaded one end & a outer hex at the other..

the lower one is 1&a1/2" long, threaded one end & a inner hex the other..

   ????

   ????

Looking forward to your replies  ... Cheers WozzA   *smile*

Hi Wazza

The top piece is a fork top yolk clip nut & bolt part # 29-5315, 27-5135
The bottom is a spacer possibly engine steady distance piece #42-54 or oil tank fixing bolt spacer piece 342-8339

Pato ... you were right about the yolk clip nut & bolt part # 29-5315, 27-5135
BUT I had another search through my Parts Manual & came up with a
Front Engine plate & crankcase stud nut #67-1292  *smile*
It makes sence to me now to have the hex to do it up tight coz its too close to the Dynamo cover..   *smile*

Wozza,
That is not the part 67-1292. I don't think that bit belongs to an A7/10.
67-1292 is similar to the nut on the headstock clamp which you have.

That bit goes into the carby, Wozza.
It helps increase turbulence through the intake.   *smile*

Heya Wozza, Have you checked the internal hex and thread for size, if it's imperial or metric?? I've seen something like that somewhere, but not sure where? kind of looks like something I've seen either in a pile of Jappo stuff, or somewhere in the heads of my Guzzi, but it's been so long since I needed to pull that apart I forget what's in there!! Maybe when I get the A10 back together I'll do the T for exercise
Started building in about 1977/8 a on average '52 A10 -built from bits 'n pieces never resto intended -maybe 'personalised'
Have a '74 850T Moto Guzzi since '92-best thing I ever bought doesn't need a kickstart 'cos it bump starts sooooooooo(mostly) easy

Hi WozzA.
We have Triumph part no. 21-2204 Socket Nut. It is part 24 in the picture of Parts Cataloque and goes to the head bolt inside rockerbox. It has 5/16 UNF internal thread. Triumph twins 1973 on.
