bsa a10gold flash spark plugs

hi can anyone tell me if the spark plugs in my 1958 a10 should be long reach or short reach as mine are short and a friends a10 are long cheers mal

G'day rockthedog, alloy head use long reach NGK B7ES, iron head use short reach B7HS.

Unless some designer botched it, 99 percent of engines always use longreach for aluminium heads.Chainsaws and mowers are a few exceptions.
