Pearson Clutch Removal.
« on: 18.10. 2011 20:05 »
Hi everyone,
Is anyone out there who has a Pearson clutch fitted to an A10 or RGS/GS?
If there is, can they please tell me if the clutch centre can be removed with the
normal BSA tool ( the one with with the external thread, the tool that is, not the centre).
Much obliged if anyone can help. I like to be prepared before the stripdown.
Must be the boy scout in me, Dib Dib Dib!
Regards, Geoff.

Hi Pillgrim,
Maybe I'm late replying???
The standard 4 spring extractor will pull off the Pearson clutch adaptor,
The hub is a modified 4 spring unit

Hi John,
No problem with the delay. I'm grateful for the answer.
I need to change the gearbox sprocket oil seal and it's nice to know that
I've got the right tools before I start rather than halfway through!
I would have thought that there would be more Pearson clutches about. I did phone
him a couple of weeks ago, left a message, but didn't get a reply!
Thanks again, cheers.
Regards, Geoff.
