Re:(the picture Pedro , a story came to mind about the motorcycle mech and his cardio -vascular surgeon client ,whilst the surgeon was picking up his expensive bike after some engine work the mechanic mentioned that has he did most of the same things to his engine as the surgeon did ie replace valves and internal plumbing etc he should get the same rate of pay has the surgeon ,who, after a moment’s thought and not wishing to upset the mechanic agreed saying well yes up to a point but tell me ,could you change a valve with the motor still running) ???
best wishes BobH
Hi guys, BobH, nice story about the heart surgeon however when relaying the story to my daughter who is a theater nurse she tells me that the account is not quite right. She tells me that a `Perfusionist` monitors a machine that is hooked up to the patient and takes over the actions of the heart where blood is pumped from the body to the machine and back while the patient is laying on an ice cold bed as the heart has to be very cold at the time of operation. After the op the heart has to be `shocked` back into life to get it going(kick started)just like the bikes, cheers
