Swedish Very Golden Golden Flash
« on: 20.01. 2008 16:59 »
Here it is,
the very Golden 1953 Golden Flash with sidecar (70s, could very well be Russian).
As mentioned before it is fairly well preserved,  believe that te 21000 kms onthe odomster is correct, since it is been off the road for quite a few yers in the 60s to the 80s.

So far I have detected various odd things that might/will need to be corrected like ;
- The 5-tone Gold paint scheme
- The non-orignal silencers
- The handle-bar
- The Amal Concentric carb
- The quite neat but wrong placement of the battery in the tool-box
- Various switches and the entire cabling

Anything else ?

Nitti, congratulations, quite a piece of machinery you've got!
My first impressions would be that the differences you mention are not part of any model of original A10, but done by previous owners. That said, this should not in any way detract to the value and satisfaction of ownership and use, this bike will makes heads turn wherever it goes.
