Hi Jules,
I replaced all of the bushes in the casings as they were worn (layshaft, kickstart & gearchange shaft ones) but not the 2 in the gears.. Mine were a little worn but not too bad & I wasn't sure if the effort was worth it trying to get them out so left alone..
Can't advise on these I'm afraid, maybe someone else can.. Good luck with them..

Jules,
            Why the hell would you take a gearbox to the UK for overhaul?
They are simple to work on. With a bit of care anyone can rebuild them.
