Where is 859 AUY ?
« on: 27.01. 2011 20:43 »
Greetings all and hope the weather gods have at least allowed for a bit of riding this season.  I have been wondering who might be the owner of my 1960 Golden Flash (blue)  859 AUY ?  I had left it at John Hewitt's house in 1988 and he sold it for me in I believe about 1993 or so.  He did mention that a BSAOC member was interested and I gave him the go ahead to sell it.  I would just like to know where it lives now and  how it is doing.  If anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate the info.  All the best to the A~10 family of riders!  Aloha, Richard

Well... After a bit of online searching (got nothing else to do) it seems the vehicle details are not on the DVLC data base, so doe's not look too good.

Thanks for having a look LJ,  Could that mean that the bike just isn't on the road, or could the new owner have applied for a different number?  I'm not certain that 859 AUY was correct to the 1960 period anyway.  At any rate I appreciate the response.  Richard
