BSA giveaway??
« on: 10.10. 2010 20:39 »
I bought this retractable pencil a few days ago (the mechanism is working ok and it was really cheap, so I just had to).
Probably it had been an advertising gift back then? Does anyone know from which period it is?

If someone here can confirm it was Bert Hopwood's own and he had used it for drawing the A-series engine, I might consider putting it on evilbay to finance a Goldie or RGS.  *lol*

Cheers, Markus

I think, almost guaranteed to be swag given away at a motorcyle trade show where they showed their new models.

Great find Marcus, sadly I would have to agree with Richard. But there are a lot of gullible people out there in ebayland who might believe it is so.

While in the memorabilia dept, my card decks, power units, probably not bike related, but funny anyway.
