A7 Crankshaft Grinding
« on: 12.06. 2010 23:34 »
Hi,

I have looked at a previous post regarding crank regrinds for A7 and A10 but i am still not sure how far I can go.
I have seen some timing bushes for sale from BSA dealers and they go up to +40, and big ends caps down to -60.

Can anybody confirm what sizes i can go to and a parts supplier that has quality spares.

Thanks in advance for any help.

G'day Andy,
On a small journal crank I would not go any more than 40 thou on the big ends, that is their weak point. The main will be ok at 40 thou. The roller conversions take it down a lot more than that.
