Hello to all

been on the forum as a guest for quite a while but now thought I should register and whilst I am at it I will add a few pictures of my 56 goldflash in the different guises that it has been in the last 31 years that i have owned it

Let me be the first to say: "Welcome to the forum!".

Like you can see from my profile, I'm proud owner of a '56 Flash myself, a great and reliable bike, just the Ariel brakes had not really been an improvement compared to the previous 8inch hub. Have posted some pics of mine recently in case you are interested.

I see you shop where I do, and use the handlebar pannier method.
Just one criticism - next time your at Morrisons ask for a bag for life *smiley4*

the twins look good, I have been to Vienna many times and have never seen any british Iron (mother came overfrom austria to live in England in 1954)

Oh, got to drop me a PM next time you come to visit Vienna, I live just 80km south.

Yep, not many brit bikes around here, they were quite rare here even back then when they were new. Not many people could afford these in the tough years of rebuilding the country after WW2.
