Sorry to hear this Andy. Low life scum. I'd spend a bit of time ringing all the bike shops, wreckers and bike clubs within a 200 mile radius and place adds in all the papers and bike mags (most here do stolen adds for free). Unfortunately with our bikes increasing in value they are becoming a target.
Was it taken from home or while you were out on it ?
Best of luck with the recovery and/or the insurance. Please keep us posted.
Cheers

Absolutely no problem in posting that here Andy I/we just hope that you manage to recover it. In fact it is a good post that reminds us that there are scrotes out there that will take our machines, and also serves as a warning to us all to take all necessary precautions. Do please keep us updated on progress and keep an eye on ebay too. Might be an idea to post us a picture of the bike here as well.

Good Luck and sorry to hear of your loss.

Bad news Andy,
Be aware that Stafford Autojumble is coming up too.
It is worth making up flyers for all local bikeshops and also normal shops in your area. I knew someone who got his bike back because it just became too hot to handle. He had posters everywhere and wouldn't give up.
Offer a reward too, scrotes mates are usually scrotes too, and will gladly try and make a bit off their own.
Hope it works out for you.
Cheers,
Iain

Feeling very bad for you, Dave. Not much I can do from here in Chicago, but if it (or part of it) turns up in anything I see here, I will certainly let you know. There are distinctive pieces that should stick out if showing up on eBay.

She has been found minus rear number plate and light bracket and has been around a field so I am unsure of damage but she's back.I have to arrange to pick up and insurance but she's back. Thanks to all and the area the bike was found in has shall we say a rep for this sort of thing.More detail when I know it
