Top piece of A10 Nacelle
« on: 16.02. 2010 13:57 »
I bought a Nacelle thinking it was complete from ebay awhile ago, but when i recieved it, i found the top piece covering the top yoke is missing and also the tube trousers are rotten and split at the bottom being held together with cable ties.

Anyone want to part with either piece? send me a PM

Any help appreciated

Hi, Not sure where you are based but the Bristol and West Classic Bike show is on this week end at Shepton Mallet, take a wheelbarrow Im sure you can find a Nacelle in better condition.

If you cant make it due to distance or otherwise I would be glad to look out for a half decent one if you give me an idea what you want to pay. I picked one up a couple of years ago at £99 which was half decent but still needed some work.

let me know.

The top part covering the yoke often they pop up on ebay for little money... But be careful when buying a complete nacelle as the C15 one is very similar and is slightly smaller... so I've been led to believe, correct me if I'm wrong on that someone! But sadly A10 ones are getting very expensive now... good luck!

Im from the UK, but currently living in Florida USA and wanting to rebuild my bike to UK spec.
Got a Nacelle that appeared in good condition and complete on evil bay and when I went to my address in London, I found that the top piece was missing and the lower parts of the leg trousers were rotten and split.
I sure miss the autojumbles, they do come in handy, evil bay prices are going through the roof for them.
I think 100 to 200 pounds they go for now.

Regarding the similarity to C15 and A7 A10 Nacelle, I believe the headlight apature is smaller on the C15

I know the c15 nacelle tends to look the same but i know the headlight is smaller and the fork tubes arent as far appart as on the a10

I think he is looking for the piece from the '58 and later nacelle.

ncpierce, i was unaware that dragonfly sold that aswell as the trousers and it maybe cheaper to buy the top and trousers than to have the trousers repaired.

Has anyone bought these from there?
Is it good quality?

I know SRM sells these but all as complete set and a bit on the dear side.

Adrian, im watching that item but its too expensive to be honest.

Thanks for everyones help

I bought a set of trousers from Draganfly after splitting my original one in a run in with a car  *sad2*

They came primed and have been sprayed black and look OK.  The rest of the nacelle was in good condition so I did not even consider the £200+ full set from SRM.
