Price for a B26
« on: 09.02. 2010 10:34 »
Hello folks,

I know it is not particularly A7/10 (actually it is not at all), but maybe someone has a clue.
What could be a reasonable price to pay for a semi-restored B26 (350cc ohv, 1939)?

Without having seen it yet, let's consider the seller's statements about the project are correct:
missing parts are: air lever, chains, cables, clutch plates
engine and mag are rebuilt
a second gearbox is included
all sheet metal parts and the frame are sandblasted and unpainted
rims are rechromed and rebuilt

Thanks for your help, MG

Cant help with a value but maybe a snippet of other info.

As far as I know they were made in 37, 38 and 39. The engine and frame numbers are prefixed 1937 H, 1938 J and in 1939 K.

I had a 37' Empire Star which was a HB24.

Very nice bikes.

Thanks a lot Brian!

In case I'll have a look at it, I'll check the engine number.
