What would you do with the thing?

It's not a stock Vincent, it's a racebike, but not competitive in any current class.

It was hidden away for years, so I guess someone could buy it and hide it away again, maybe stand it in their living room and look at it, sort of a conversation piece?  That's a lot of money for a conversation, but I guess some people have got it to burn ...  *problem*

G'day Lannis, down here classic (pre '62) and post classic ('63 - '72) racing is still alive and well. Quite often see $50K bikes beeing thrashed. If I won Lotto I would. I used to race against Keith's sons and had heard so much about this bike. I just watched a DVD Bikes for Bathurst in which Eric talks of the float bowl incident.

This bike is an Australian legend.
It belongs in the racing bike museum at Bathurst.

It will probably end up in some living room .... overseas. (which would still be preferable to having a lotto winner thrash its 60 year old guts out in some D grade race)

cheers
