Duetto brake

I have just bought a Duetto Brake to fit to my 8" single sided hub wich as it happens is an A65 hub. I spent a lot of time searching without success for a Goldie one. Anyway I got the hub from America far less expensive than sourcing one in the UK even when shipping and all the other unwelcome extras are added on. I have digressed. The Duetto linings are about 1/8" narrower than the A65 linings. Should that be OK? Has anyone else done this, and if you did was everything all right?

Hi A10,
I only just saw your post just now.
I have been using the same setup, A65 hub and narrower GS Taylor Dow brake for 20+ years without any prctical disadvantage or problem
Well worth doing in my experience
