Stafford Show April 2025
« on: 16.02. 2025 14:01 »
Is there going to be a showing from this forum? Has there ever been a showing from this forum? I've seen the BSAOC there before.

I'm always up for showing a bike and usually show my XJR1200 but thinking about a change this year. My A10 is not the best looker but it's a runner and handles well.
If a few members would be interested in showing i don't mind doing the paperwork as i've done it before with the XJR lads. I don't think it's too late to register.

If anyone is interested in this event then i'm sorry but it will not be happening.
The reason is that we would need Public Liability Insurance and as a forum and not a club or organisation we do not have it.
Mortons, who organise the event, insist on it.
Sorry folks.

Shame about that. Maybe we could think of acquiring the funds or a 'workaround' for a future event.

Yes it is a shame. But maybe we could acquire funds from the BSAOC as an offshoot from them. I'm a member, are you and anyone else who might be interested in an A10/A7 show stand.
Long shot i know but if you don't ask you get.

Just joined the forum, but I was on the BSAOC stand last time and have put my name forward this time.
Come and say hello, or join the BSAOC and get in touch with the organiser through them and volunteer.
In my experience most of the bikes that turn up to Cheshire BSAOC meets are A10s so there's huge representation for the bikes of 90%?? of existing members.
